The 250W charger puts six USB ports in easy reach and allows users to customize power output through four selectable modes.
Anker has unveiled several exciting additions to its Prime line of chargers, including a new desktop version that offers customizable power output for its six USB ports via a control dial. This innovation ensures that connected devices receive precisely the amount of power they need, enhancing efficiency and safety.
The new Anker Prime Charger, priced at ₹13,939 (approximately $169.99), distributes 250W of power across four USB-C ports and two USB-A ports. The first USB-C port can deliver up to 140W of power, while the remaining three USB-C ports each offer a maximum output of 100W. The two USB-A ports provide up to 22.5W each.

The charger features four distinct power distribution modes, adjustable through a built-in control dial or via Anker’s mobile app:
AI Power Mode: Detects the power requirements of connected devices and automatically adjusts power distribution accordingly.
Port Priority Mode: Allows two selected ports to receive precedence, maintaining their full power output even when other devices are connected.
Dual-Laptop Mode: Prioritizes power delivery to two laptops connected to the first two USB-C ports.
Low Current Mode: Reduces the power output on all ports to help preserve the battery life of devices like smartphones.
A 2.26-inch LCD screen displays the power draw of each USB-C port, as well as the total power draw of all connected devices. This feature also enables the Anker Prime Charger to function as a desktop clock, showing the time and date as a screensaver after a set period. For more detailed data, including power draw over time, users can monitor the output via a Bluetooth connection to Anker’s mobile app.

A slightly cheaper alternative is the new 8-in-1 Anker Prime Charging Station, priced at ₹13,550 (approximately $164.99). This model offers a maximum power output of 240W across four USB-C ports and two USB-A ports and includes two AC outlets, which save users from having to crawl under a desk to plug something in.
The 8-in-1 model lacks the different charging modes of the 250W charger—it automatically detects the power needs of connected devices and distributes power as needed. However, it does offer connectivity to Anker’s mobile app, allowing users to monitor and schedule power output. It also features a large wall adapter, making the device that sits on your desk slimmer than Anker’s other desktop offerings.
Both chargers are available starting today through Anker’s online store.
