Vivo has officially unveiled its X200 series in China, bringing three exciting new smartphones to the market — Vivo X200, X200 Pro, and X200 Pro Mini. These devices come powered by the latest MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset, which is fabricated using a second-generation 3nm process, promising enhanced performance and efficiency. In addition, all three models run on the new Origin OS 5, which introduces AI-driven features such as Circle to Search and a Dynamic Island-like Origin Island.

Vivo X200 Series Pricing and Availability

The pricing for the Vivo X200 series starts at:

  • Vivo X200: CNY 4,300 (approximately ₹51,000) for the base 12GB+256GB model. Other configurations include 12GB+512GB, 16GB+512GB, and 16GB+1TB variants.

  • Vivo X200 Pro: CNY 5,999 (around ₹63,000) for the 12GB+256GB storage variant.

  • Vivo X200 Pro Mini: CNY 4,699 (roughly ₹56,000) for the base configuration.

The phones are available in four striking color options: Carbon Black, Titanium Grey, Moonlight White, and Sapphire Blue. Pre-orders for the X200 and X200 Pro Mini are open now, with availability starting on October 19, while the X200 Pro will hit stores on October 25.

Display and Design

  • Vivo X200 sports a 6.67-inch 10-bit OLED LTPS quad-curved screen with Zeiss Natural Colour support. This vibrant display features HDR10+, high-frequency PWM dimming to reduce flicker, and an impressive peak brightness of 4,500 nits.

  • The X200 Pro features an LTPO panel with 120Hz variable refresh rate and ultra-slim bezels of just 1.63mm.

  • The more compact X200 Pro Mini comes with a 6.31-inch flat display, perfect for users who prefer smaller devices.

Performance and Battery

  • All three models are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset, equipped with a Cortex-X925 performance core running at up to 3.6GHz.

  • The X200 and X200 Pro Mini pack 5,800mAh batteries, while the X200 Pro boasts a 6,000mAh battery. All devices support 90W wired charging, ensuring rapid recharges.

Cameras and Imaging

Vivo continues to focus on camera excellence with its X200 series. The X200 features a triple rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX921 primary sensor, a 50-megapixel telephoto lens, and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera.

The X200 Pro and X200 Pro Mini also offer triple camera systems, but with a few key differences:

  • Both models feature a new 50-megapixel Sony LYT-818 primary camera and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide sensor.

  • The X200 Pro is equipped with a 200-megapixel Zeiss APO telephoto camera for superior zoom capabilities, while the X200 Pro Mini includes a 50-megapixel telephoto camera.

Both Pro models benefit from Vivo's V3+ imaging chip, delivering features such as 4K HDR Cinematic Portrait Video and 10-bit Log video recording at 60fps.

Software and AI Features

All three Vivo X200 models run on the newly launched Origin OS 5, which introduces powerful AI tools. The Circle to Search feature allows users to highlight parts of the screen and quickly search the web for relevant information. Vivo has also introduced Origin Island, a feature inspired by Apple's Dynamic Island, offering enhanced multitasking and notification management.
