The company seems to be switching to an Apple-like proprietary connector for the Galaxy Watch Ultra.
With Samsung's next Unpacked event less than two weeks away, anticipation is building, and leaks are flowing. Notable leaker Evan Blass has shared high-resolution marketing images of the soon-to-be-announced Galaxy Watch Ultra, Galaxy Watch 7, Galaxy Buds 3 Pro, and Galaxy Buds 3, offering a comprehensive look at Samsung’s latest wearables.
Galaxy Watch Ultra: A New Era in Design
The Galaxy Watch Ultra, Samsung’s "Ultra" smartwatch, matches previous renders but introduces a significant change: an Apple Watch-like proprietary connection between the hardware and watch bands. This departure from the traditional spring pins suggests a move towards a more integrated and possibly more secure band connection.

The Galaxy Watch Ultra retains a round display encased in a squircle enclosure, with vibrant orange accents reminiscent of Apple's flagship wearable. However, Samsung offers more color variety, with options in silver, a darker natural titanium, and black.
Galaxy Watch 7: Stylish and Familiar
The Galaxy Watch 7 maintains Samsung’s familiar aesthetic. The leaked images highlight an olive green version with small pops of color on both sides of the watch band, adding a fresh yet understated look.

Galaxy Buds 3 and Galaxy Buds 3 Pro: A New Design Approach
Blass’s leaks also reveal the Galaxy Buds 3 and Galaxy Buds 3 Pro, both adopting a stemmed design, which is more angular than Apple’s AirPods but carries a similar vibe, especially in the glossy white finish of the Galaxy Buds 3.

The Galaxy Buds 3 Pro stand out with a dark gray finish and a transparent case lid. This design shift, moving away from the subtler in-ear fit to a stem look, could improve voice call quality and AI assistant interactions by positioning the microphone closer to the user's mouth.
What to Expect at the Unpacked Event
Samsung is also expected to announce the Galaxy Fold 6 and Flip 6, promising iterative improvements over their predecessors. However, there’s perhaps more excitement surrounding Samsung's next wave of wearables, including its first-ever smart ring, all likely to debut at the event.
Conclusion
Samsung’s upcoming wearables lineup seems poised to blend innovation with familiar design elements, potentially setting new standards in the wearable tech market.
