Leak: Basically Every Spec for Samsung’s Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6

With just one week to go until Samsung’s highly anticipated Unpacked event on July 10th, where the tech giant is set to unveil its Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 folding phones, leaker Evan Blass has dropped a bombshell. He’s shared what appear to be the complete spec sheets and marketing materials for both devices, leaving almost nothing to the imagination.

Major Upgrades and New Features

Both the Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 will be lighter and offer longer battery life despite being slightly thinner. There are also slight changes to their screens, and some exciting new features.

Enhanced Functionality and Design

One of the standout features for the Z Flip 6 is the new ability to use Samsung’s language-translating Interpreter Mode on its front cover screen. This allows users to point the text of one language at the person they’re talking to while the other faces them, making communication across languages smoother.

Additionally, the Z Flip 6 will be the first with vapor chamber cooling, promising better heat management and performance.

IP48 Ingress Protection

Both models claim IP48 ingress protection. However, this isn’t the dust resistance many have hoped for to prevent long-term hinge damage. Instead, the “4” in IP48 indicates protection against solid objects 1mm in size or greater. Samsung might have simply opted not to claim that rating for previous foldables.
