Garmin has launched the new Lily 2 Active, an enhanced version of its fashion-forward Lily 2 smartwatch, addressing the most common feedback from users. For an additional ₹4,150, Garmin adds two key features: physical buttons and built-in GPS, significantly improving the watch’s functionality.
A Welcome Update for Fitness Enthusiasts
One of the standout features of the Garmin Lily 2 Active is the built-in GPS, a game-changer for fitness enthusiasts who want to track outdoor activities like running and cycling without needing to carry a smartphone. In addition, the physical buttons make navigation much easier, especially considering the finicky nature of the Lily 2’s touch display.
The new model also promises nine days of battery life, which is nearly double the original Lily 2’s performance. If Garmin's claims hold true, the Lily 2 Active will be close to competing with high-end models like the ₹83,000 Garmin Epix Pro Sapphire Edition, which is a favorite among endurance athletes.
Enhanced Sports Features
The Lily 2 Active also brings new sports-oriented features, making it much more versatile. The watch now includes built-in sports apps for activities like tennis, pickleball, indoor cycling, and golf. It also offers downloadable onscreen workouts focused on strength training, yoga, and more, providing a comprehensive fitness experience.
Additionally, users can benefit from Garmin Coach, which offers free adaptive training plans designed by expert coaches, helping users train more effectively for specific goals.
Pricing and Availability
The Garmin Lily 2 Active is available in Lunar Gold, Silver, and Jasper Green colors, priced at ₹24,900. It is currently available for purchase directly from Garmin.
This new version of the Lily watch provides significant improvements that make it a more appealing option for users seeking both style and performance in their fitness devices.
